Baby Massage is a unique programme helping you to form the best possible connection with your baby, laying down the foundations of love and learning that will affect them for the rest of their lives.  Using all the senses we introduce massage, gentle exercises, relaxation and sensory play and offer practical tips on taking care of your posture, and holding your baby in a relaxed and positive way. Babies welcome from 4-6 weeks

What Happens at the Baby Massage Session?

A warm welcome and health screening at the first session

Gentle relaxation, mobilisation and posture advice

Say hello to baby! And seek baby’s permission to massage

Each week focus on a different part of the body

Week 5 confidently perform a full body massage

Refreshments and Chit Chat

Music throughout the session so singing voices required!

Mats, cushions and oils provided

Sensory play session at the end of each massage

Time to say ‘Goodbye’ at the end of each class

Tips

Bring along enrolment and health form at the first session or email prior to commencement

Completely baby-led so you are welcome to feed at anytime

Wear suitable loose comfortable clothing for sitting on the floor

Baby’s needs are priority so it will be normal for you to cuddle and comfort your baby if they are not in the mood for massage

Bring along a bath-sized towel to lay your baby on, and a small blanket or hand towel to cover your baby

Feel free to watch and learn and practice at home if your baby falls asleep

Bring along essentials such as nappies, wipes and bottles if needed etc.
