Breastfeeding Workshop

Breastfeeding is a natural and normal way to feed a baby, and by choosing to make your baby a breastfed  baby, you and your partner are giving your baby the very best start.

This relaxed but practical workshop for expectant parents will offer  realistic expectations, develop practical skills, and explore coping strategies to cope with the challenges of breastfeeding in the early days.

Gain crucial knowledge, tips  and skills to ensure you get breastfeeding off to a great start, including practice techniques for good positioning and latching your baby at the breast, exploring challenges to successful breastfeeding, how to express and store breastmilk,  how to get some quality sleep, and dad’s unique role in the breastfeeding journey, to name just a few.

Run by highly experienced Midwives with a wealth of breastfeeding knowledge and expertise to share, this fun and friendly workshop will also give opportunity to meet and make friends with other expectant parents and to share expectations of breastfeeding a newborn.
